Diecast 1:76 Scale Model

Series 1 - 88" - The Legendary Plimsoll - Bronze Green

Great diecast Land Rover models - ideal gifts or a treat for yourself.

This scale model recreated ‘Plimsoll’, a distinctive 1957 Series 1 88-inch, registration PSL 193. Owned by Mark Saville, formerly of Land Rover Owner International magazine.

Plimsoll was no ordinary Land Rover. Its standard road wheels could be swapped in around an hour for cast aluminium/magnesium wheels, allowing it to run on railway tracks. Over the years it covered more than 45,000 miles at home and abroad, including around 120 miles on rails, and became a familiar sight at heritage railway events across the UK.
