EZ Electric Power Steering kits are designed specifically for each vehicle make and model. The system is completely hidden beneath the dashboard, while the existing steering rack or box remains unchanged, retaining the vehicle's standard steering ratio and adjustment. Its speed-sensitive operation provides light steering assistance at low speeds and reduced assistance at higher speeds. Unlike a hydraulic pump, which operates continuously while the engine is running, the electric motor uses power only when steering assistance is required and works without making any noise. As one of the few manufacturers of power steering systems to have previously obtained TÜV certification for both the company and its products, EZ Electric Power Steering continues to place quality and safety at the heart of its approach.

EZ Electric Power Steering supplies a new upper steering column with built-in 12V electric power assistance. As the vehicle has a one-piece steering column, only the section beneath the dashboard is replaced. A specially designed adapter securely connects the new unit to the original steering column. A one-piece steering column means the steering shaft is made from a single section and connects directly to the steering box. Where applicable, the kit also includes a potentiometer, allowing the level of steering assistance to be adjusted to suit the driver's preference.
